Learn about the current funding landscape for arts organizations in Georgia and meet arts funders.
This event is part of our Funding for Arts Month.
Steven Lawrence, director of research at the Foundation Center, will examine recent trends in grantmaker funding for the arts nationally as well as in Georgia. He will discuss the outlook for foundation giving going forward. Following this report, a panel of grantmakers focused on supporting the work of arts organizations will discuss how the arts sector in Georgia is faring in the ‘new normal’ and where they see the greatest needs going forward.

Steven Lawrence joined the Foundation Center’s research staff in 1991 and currently serves as director of research. He manages the publication of numerous annual and special project reports. He also develops and delivers public presentations and trainings on foundation trends, facilitates custom consulting services for external clients, and promotes Foundation Center research activities to the media, grantmakers, and the nonprofit community.
