This event is part of our Funding for Arts Month.
Immediately preceding the Resource Market for the Arts, Lisa Cremin, director of the Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund at the Community Foundation for Greater Atlanta, will kick off Funding for Arts month with insights on recent trends in the field of funding for the arts. Feel free to bring your questions and comments.

Presenter: Lisa Cremin, Director, Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund
Lisa Cremin is the founding director of the Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund, and also focuses on the Community Foundation's Nonprofit Loan Fund and Social Innovation. She oversees and participates in multiple grantmaking programs, including the Arts Fund. Under her leadership, the Arts Fund has directly supported more than 100 arts organizations in Atlanta, employing a unique strategy directed at organizational stabilization. Lisa also works with donors at the Community Foundation who are interested in arts and culture, and oversees the Foundation’s Atlanta Public Art Legacy Fund.
Previously, Lisa led a consulting firm based in New York and directed creative programs with for-profit and nonprofit entities, produced major international museum exhibitions, curated private visual art collections, and designed philanthropic initiatives using arts to promote social change. Lisa worked at Christie’s International in New York and the Weston Gallery in California and created visual arts programs for both the 1984 and 1996 Olympic Games in partnership with corporate sponsors.
