The Website Boot Camp is a two-day, hands-on workshop for artists and arts administrators who want to learn how to quickly build a website using WordPress. Participants will learn how to:

  • Install and administer WordPress
  • Find and install themes and plugins
  • Write and maintain a blog
  • Build a site around your arts business

Who is this workshop for?
Individual artists and arts administrators who either need to build a website, maintain or enhance an existing WordPress website, or know what to look for when hiring a WordPress designer.

Joe Winter

About the Presenter
Joe Winter is the chief technology officer of C4 Atlanta, a nonprofit arts service organization. Previously, Joe served as the IT manager at the Atlanta Coalition of Performing Arts for five years and project manager for Civic Strategies, a public policy consulting firm. Joe picked up his technology skills as a third-tier customer support analyst at IBM. Joe sings with the community chorus, Just Voices. He graduated from Georgia State University with a B.S. in urban policy studies, concentrating on planning and economic development, and a B.B.A. in management.
