Gain an introduction to the world of foundation fundraising.
Are you a representative of a nonprofit organization?
Are you new to fundraising?
Do you want to learn how the funding research process works, and what tools and resources are available?
Learn how to become a better grantseeker! In this class we will cover: what you need to have in place before you seek a grant; the world of grantmakers; the grantseeking process; and available tools and resources.
Please note:
- This course is also offered in Spanish.
- If you are a representative of an NGO or a U.S.-based nonprofit with international programs, you may be interested in taking Grantseeking Basics for International Organizations.
- This orientation is not intended for individuals seeking grants for their own use. Please see our resources for Individual Grantseekers.
Space is limited. Register online below or in person. Registrants requiring ASL signers or other disability-related services are asked to contact the Foundation Center at least two weeks in advance. If you need further information, please call (212) 620-4230.
Please arrive on time or your seat may be given away to others who are waiting to attend. Wheelchair users can enter the New York Library/Learning Center at 8 East 16th Street (between Fifth Avenue and Union Square West).
