Fundraising events could help support and promote your organization, but are they the right type of fundraising strategy for your organization? This first session in the series will present expert advice and peer experiences to help you decide that important question.

Our presenters will offer an overview on the time, staff, technological, and financial commitments needed to run a successful event and will explain the different types of events available to nonprofits. They will also offer their own experiences with managing events for their organizations and will discuss why they have found their investments in these types of events to be worthwhile.

Stay tuned for the second part of the series scheduled for September 13, which will focus on the most effective strategies for preparing and running a special event for your organization.
