Today’s experienced worker and the nonprofit sector make great partners. More and more, older professionals are filling essential vacancies in nonprofit organizations and associations. In the nonprofit sector, individuals can focus their accumulated time, experience and talent on missions and issues that directly contribute to society. This program will review employment trends in the nonprofit sector and techniques you can use to be well positioned for nonprofit opportunities.
About the Presenter:
Barbara Ramundo is the regional vice president for Professionals for Nonprofits, which provides temporary and direct hire nonprofit job placements at the executive, middle management, program, and support levels. She is also president of her own consulting firm, Ramundo Consulting Group, LLC and has more than 20 years of organizational management and fundraising experience. Barbara has worked with nonprofit organizations such as WAMU 88.5 FM (American University), Interfaith Works, Montgomery Community Media, and Randolph-Macon Academy. She is a past board member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
