National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA) exists to strengthen invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship education through curricular development. Each year, NCIIA hosts the Open Minds exhibition to showcase cutting-edge innovation from NCIIA's best student teams. Ecovative, an Open Minds alum, is a triple-bottom line organization with the mission to eliminate disposable plastics through commercialization of cost and performance competitive sustainable materials platform, namely Eco-cradle, a Styrofoam packaging replacement.
