Do you have a passion for doing good?  Are you thinking of starting a nonprofit? Attend our free class and explore if starting a nonprofit is the right course of action, or if you should pursue one of the many alternatives for doing good.  After the class, meet and talk with two local experts in nonprofit law.

You will learn:

  • What is a nonprofit organization and what are the advantages and disadvantages of forming one?
  • Steps required in starting a nonprofit
  • Alternatives to starting a nonprofit
  • Common misconceptions about starting a nonprofit

Following the class, Todd K. Masuda and Steve W. Day, local nonprofit lawyers, will be on hand to answer questions and discuss what legal issues you need to think about when forming a nonprofit.
