Knowledge Base

Q:
How do I obtain the materials I've located in the Catalog of Nonprofit Literature (CNL)?
A:

Many of the books and articles found in our Catalog of Nonprofit Literature (CNL) can be found in Foundation Center libraries and Funding Information Network locations. It is best to call ahead to verify a specific library's holdings.

If our libraries or Network partners do not have what you are looking for, you can request articles (but not books) from our New York headquarters through your nearest Foundation Center location or partner. Articles will then be mailed or faxed there for pick-up.

Alternatively, you may be able to request books and articles through your local public or academic libraries, either from their collections, article databases, or interlibrary loan services. Use WorldCat to find items in libraries near you.
