Special Event - Key Components in Preparing for an Audit

Wednesday, March 18, 2015 10:00 am - 11:30 am
In-person | New York, NY

Check-in: 9:30 am

The time is ripe to learn about methods that can help you become audit ready in a timely and methodical manner. Being ‘audit-ready’ has become an increasingly difficult challenge considering the increased regulations on an already heavily regulated industry. Crunching the numbers became just a component of an audit as auditors have been charged with examining many other aspects such as agency-wide risk assessments, compliance, governance, internal controls and specific regulations promulgated by funding entities and governments. This session will be extremely useful and revealing, designed to assist you and help you perform an efficient close to your fiscal year. You will also learn methods of tracking information throughout the year that will prove to enhance mid-year financial reporting as well.
