Introduction to Finding Grants

You will learn the 10 most important things you need to know about finding grants, including:

  • Who funds nonprofits and what their motivations are.
  • What funders really want to know about the organizations they are interested in funding.
  • How to identify potential funders and make the first approach.

Attendees will be introduced to Foundation Directory Online (FDO) Professional database and will have a chance to practice with a set of guided, hands-on searches.  This class is held in the Main Library’s computer classroom.
