Explore different nonprofit partnership and collaboration models.

At a time when nonprofits are trying to do more with less, the prospect of joining forces with one or more like-minded organizations can be a promising option (if not a necessity) for fulfilling your mission more effectively. Would forging a partnership be the right choice for you, whether for financial reasons, mission-related reasons, or both?

In the current economic climate, nonprofit organizations are being urged now more than ever to work together in new and creative ways. Join our panelists as they describe how their organizations have successfully partnered and are:

  • Increasing their capacity and use of resources to serve more clients
  • Providing or linking clients with additional services
  • Becoming more attractive to funders

Gain an overview of partnership/collaboration opportunities. Presenters will discuss administrative consolidations between agencies, joint programming and formal mergers. Panelists include representatives from:

  • Haight Ashbury Free Clinic/Walden House
  • Latino Cancer Collaborative
  • San Francisco Immigrant Legal and Education Network
  • California Healthy Nail Salon Collaborative

This discussion will be moderated by nonprofit partnerships expert, Vance Yoshida, senior partner of La Piana Consulting.
