Increasingly funders are thinking about effectiveness, strategy, and amplifying impact.  This is often informing the way in which they operate and plan grantmaking priorities and strategy.

In May, the Center for Effective Philanthropy (CEP), is convening here in San Francisco to share best practices in leading effective foundations.  The themes and topics covered in the conference sessions give us a pulse on what is currently on the minds of grantmakers and what trends might influence grantmaking practices in the future.

Participating grantmakers at the 2015 CEP conference will provide an overview of the items discussed at the conference that may impact nonprofits and foundation fundraising, such as effective grantee/grantmaker relationships, evaluation and impact assessment trends, how grantmakers are thinking about growing income inequality, and new models of philanthropy.
