"What are your Financials saying to Funders? Do they support your campaign or program goals?” Lori Campbell from the Northern California Loan Fund, Rosa King from the Carl and Celia Gellert Foundation and Lise Maisano of S.H. Cowell Foundation will provide insights into their analysis of 990s and annual audits and what gives them confidence or pause in making recommendations to their directors for funding.

Lori Campbell is the Financial Management Consultant at NCCLF. Her experience ranges from running her own consulting company to being Executive Director Congregation Beth Israel Judea and Chief Financial Officer for Summer Search.

Rosa King serves as Program Officer at The Carl Gellert and Celia Berta Gellert Foundation. Her experience in philanthropy includes donor advised fund portfolio management at Tides, and grantmaking at the Y & H Soda Foundation. She is program chair of the Grants Managers Network No. California chapter and a regular presenter at family adoption workshops.

Lise Maisano recently celebrated 25 years with the SH Cowell Foundation. As Vice President Grant programs she manages all grantmaking functions of the Foundation and shepherds Cowell’s Strengthening Families and Communities work. She also served on the board and executive committees of Northern California Grantmakers and the Foundation Consortium and was founding chair of LeaderSpring’s advisory council.
