*Special Program* Smart Marketing for Fundraising Events
Tuesday, December 05, 2017 10:00 am
12:00 pm ET
In-person | Washington, DC
Most of us know the basics of marketing an event: use social media, create fun incentives, organize your brand ambassadors, and get busy promoting! But, how do you bring all of this together to meet specific fundraising goals? Development professionals are rarely taught how to thoughtfully align their fundraising tactics to crucial steps in event management. Still, they are frequently called upon to design events that will garner impressive sums. This can lead to events that require an abundance of work but fall short of their potential. Well, no longer! This workshop will help fundraisers engage in smart marketing to make the most of their efforts.
- Understand the intersection of your fundraising goals and the event planning process
- Discover how to create a flexible, multi-team strategy
- Learn how to secure peer buy-in and use delegation strategies to your advantage
- Hear new ideas for successfully marketing your fundraising event
After participating in this workshop, attendees will be better equipped to plan for and execute their next fundraising or donor-focused project, considering that success is not always based on effort, but often rests on strategy.
