In-person | Washington, DC
Most organizations don’t have a strategy problem; they have an action problem that makes their strategic efforts fail. To make your strategic initiatives more successful, you must find out ways to make the ideas you build up actionable and to make those actions consistent. The godfather of management consulting, Peter Drucker said, “I don’t want to hear that you had a good meeting with me, I want you to tell me what you are going to do differently on Monday.” That’s what this session is all about. Uncovering what is really holding you back and making your organization rethink the actions they are taking so that you don’t have a bunch of great ideas that never get implemented, but instead you have a set of new activities that will help you create new outcomes.
- How to ask the right questions.
- How to champion new ideas and give them room to be accepted.
- Understanding why you need to let go of certain activities to give new ones room to be acted upon.
- How to set goals for new actions.
