Gain a clearer understanding of the various steps in planning for your NGO. While planning and execution should be an ongoing exercise, often planning is not carried out deliberately. This means that the goals and mission of the organization are not communicated to all stakeholders.

  • How often should it be done?
  • How should you align activities with the missing of the NGO?
  • Communicating the plan, soliciting feedback.

About the Presenter:

Dr. Sabith Khan

Sabith Khan is a scholar-practitioner, with several years of experience in public affairs, strategic communications and NGO management in India, UAE and the US. He has a PhD in Planning, Governance and Globalization from Virginia Tech and has previously served as the Executive Director of an NGO in Washington DC as well as most recently, as a Research Director. He is the founder of Global Footprint, a research and advisory consultancy based in the DC Metro area. For more see
