About

What do Superman, Yoda, Tony Stark and Xena, Warrior Princess have in common (besides reflecting some awesome characters from TV and movies)?

Each character had a moment of personal “time-out.”  Whether it was due to a catastrophic experience, a desire to be “normal or to meditate and rebuild your self-confidence, each one found their motivation and returned to do what they did best-SAVING THE WORLD.

Working in the nonprofit sector takes a special leader who can keep the vision of what can be while faced with the day-to-day operational challenges.  It can also lead to high stress, working 24/7, and even a moment of “we cannot impact this issue, why do we try?”

It’s normal.  You’re human. You can’t fly to the North Pole and visit your ice castle, you cannot leave and live in a swamp until your successor shows up, and you cannot visit the world to find peace of mind with your trusty companion while others continue to destroy the world.

So how do you regroup yourself and keep yourself motivated and inspired?

Join Allison Motz and Symone McClain of Ascend Advisors for this key session of our new leadership series Conversations and we will walk through 10 steps to keep yourself motivated by creating your personal goals, helping your find your inspiration and designing a plan to recharge.
