About

Make sure you have the groundwork that must be in place before your new nonprofit organization can thrive. Learn the characteristics of effective nonprofits and assess whether yours is ready for foundation fundraising.

This workshop will walk you through the steps to defining your mission, obtaining incorporation and nonprofit status and building an effective board.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a sack lunch as there are few lunch options close by and time is limited. This workshop is designed for those seeking to establish a new nonprofit organization.

Presented by Rebecca Kirby.

This event is organized by a Funding Information Network partner.

Intended audience

  • All levels of experience
  • Board members
  • CEOs, executive directors, upper management
