About

Giving data shows that 80 percent of the funds nonprofits raise comes from individual donors, yet much of the focus of fundraising is often on grants and corporate gifts. This session, led by Bethany Warner, Director of Development at the Indianapolis Public Library Foundation, will help you understand the basics of an annual giving program and give you an opportunity to practice asking with confidence. Asking for financial support for your program shouldn’t be scary – learn to be fearless in your asking!  This workshop is best for those who have already established their nonprofit organization. Made possible by The Indianapolis Foundation Library Fund and The Emily Fund through grants to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.

This event is organized by a Funding Information Network partner.
