About

Nonprofits are born out of the passion and vision of a founder. In the beginning, it’s all about getting established and offering your product or service. But, for your nonprofit to mature, become high quality and live beyond your founder’s passion, your nonprofit needs to create a thoughtful, realistic strategic plan. And, from that, related plans. To many, that process can seem overwhelming or vexing. To others, it may feel forced when the timing or resources aren’t there to get the job done. And, finally, after all your effort, plans often collect dust. We’ll name traps for you to watch for and avoid, speed through the basics of good planning and introduce several formats and tools you can use to both create and live out your next (or first) plan.

Made possible by The Indianapolis Foundation Library Fund and The Emily Fund through grants to The Indianapolis Public Library Foundation.
