Ideal for nonprofit staff new to evaluation, this introductory, interactive 3-hour workshop is designed to make evaluation accessible to everyone. The workshop will address barriers to evaluation and decision-making criteria regarding conducting in-house evaluations vs. hiring external evaluators, as well as simplify evaluation terms, differentiate between process-based and outcomes-based evaluations, outline quantitative and qualitative evaluation methods, and take participants through a step-by-step model to create an outcomes-based evaluation instrument.
