"Don 't waste your time on stuff that isn 't really what you want."

How can you channel your creative energies into a search for funding? Individual artists are encouraged to join us for a special workshop, centered on crafting compelling, persuasive grant proposals for creative projects. Discover how to research funding, decode application questions, and focus artistic career goals during the grant writing process. In this session, based on her book, The Artist 's Guide to Grant WritingGigi Rosenberg discusses how to enlist colleagues and friends to help write a successful proposal, get organized, persuade the right funders, and emulate the attitudes of successful grant recipients.

Gigi Rosenberg is an author and speaker offering workshops and coaching. Her book, The Artist's Guide to Grant Writing, was published by Watson-Guptill, a division of Random House, in 2010. The book grew out of the author's popular workshops, which empower artists to craft winning proposals and raise funds for their artistic endeavors. With 20 years experience in writing, theater, and corporate communications, Gigi specializes in coaching business people and artist entrepreneurs.
