About

"If you get one key agency -- it will help you get the others."

Government funding is one of the most valuable types of support a nonprofit can secure, but some nonprofits are unsure how to find available opportunities or how to navigate the application process. To help demystify the basics of finding and securing government grant opportunities, join us for a special video in which consultant Marilyn Hoyt and Jeff Rosenstock, Institutional Development and Major Gifts Officer of Queens College, tackle the following issues:

  • What kinds of government funding are available at the local, state and federal level?
  • Which types are the best fit for our organization?
  • What is the appropriate approach for securing these grants?

The session will also include a case study of how one nonprofit successfully cultivated government support for its own programs.

Intended audience

  • All levels of experience
